At the New York International Auto Show held last month, Nissan gave us a preview of the 2018 Nissan 370Z Heritage Edition. This special edition model will be produced to celebrate the 370Z’s 50th anniversary. The sports car was initially launched under the Datsun brand in 1969, though, which means Nissan is starting the celebrations early.
The Heritage Edition is available in two variations. The first is Chicane Yellow with gloss black mirrors and decals, and the second is Magnetic Black with gloss silver graphics. Both color options come with yellow interior trim.
Performance-wise, this special edition will be similar to the standard model and come equipped with a 3.7-liter V6 with 332 horsepower. However, it will come with an Exedy high-performance clutch. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic with Downshift Rev Matching.
In addition, it will include the same updates as the standard 2018 model, including new headlights, a new rear fascia paint combination, and smoke chrome door handles.
Michael Bunce, vice president of Nissan Product Planning described the Heritage Edition as having a “sense of customization straight off the showroom floor.”
